The verdict
A 60° cone with spiral ribs and a big single hole gives you full control over flow, rewarding a slow, even pour with the cleanest, most aromatic cup of any everyday method. Hario rates the 02 at 1 to 4 cups (the 01 does 1 to 2, the 03 up to 6) and it takes 02 paper filters. It needs a gooseneck and benefits from a scale, but the ceiling is high and the price is tiny.
