The verdict
The Opus 2 replaces the original Opus with larger 48mm conical burrs, 48 settings plus a stepless side dial, auto-stop dosing, and a catch cup that doubles as a 54/58mm portafilter cradle — still spanning espresso to cold brew and still quieter than most. Espresso users can grind fine enough, though dedicated espresso grinders remain more precise at the very fine end.
