The verdict
Not a pour-over kettle: the spout is wide and the six presets run 160–200°F rather than to the degree. What it does is hold nearly twice what a Stagg does and get there quickly on 1500W. The French-press preset, the 30-minute keep-warm and the memory feature that lets you lift it off the base for two minutes without losing the setting make it the practical pick for a household brewing by the carafe, or for tea alongside coffee.
